Palace of Versailles

Image
The Palace of Versailles was just packed, every room full of people roaming or on tours, navigating the halls was slow and impossible at times. The gardens however were the highlight of the visit, the gorgeous maze like spaces with tunnels of green were astounding and worth the long walk around the grounds. It's hard to say skip on Versailles it was fun to visit but definitely go in knowing it may be a crowed mess at times.

Sainte-Chapelle

Image
Former treasure trove of Paris royalty and now a church, Sainte-Chapelle had some impressive sainted glass even compared to Notre Dame. This was a neat visit but the long wait even with reservations was almost not worth the visit.

Notre Dame

One of my favorite moments was walking into Notre Dame, while crowded it was nearly silent. Being in this most iconic church was such a stunning contrast from the ornate outside to the simple design inside. Recently cleaned from the fire of 2019 the interior was breathtaking.

Palais Garnier

Another trip favorite was the Paris Opera, we did only toured the lobby due to a rehearsal in progress but it was an epic sight to see none the less.

Louvre Overload

Image
What can I say about the Louvre, we saw some amazing works of art but the crowds were brutal. We did our best to enjoy this massive museum but it was just exhausting.

Hôtel de la Marine

From the home of a noble to the Ministry of the Navy this stunning building was a quiet treasure of the our trip to Paris. The 3d narrative audio tour was a stunning way to bring an old ornate building to life.
