Rocky Mountain National Park - Five Lake Expedition
A beautiful adventure begins on a sunny Veterans day off. I randomly decided that morning after dropping the kids off a the bus to set out for a hike in Rocky Mountain National park . I arrived at the Bear Lake trail head elevation 9,475ft , on the way up to Nymph , Dream , and Emerald lakes . Nymph Lake 9,710ft above sea level Dream Lake elevation 9,910 ft Emerald Lake elevation 10,110 ft On the way back down from Emerald Lake A fellow photographer had been confronted by a very persistent chipmunk that demanded food before you could pass. Amazing Ice formations on the creak between Dream Lake and Nymph Stopping by Bear Lake elevation 9,475ft Not a lot of photos here, it was crowded, my feet were sore and I needed food!
